Product Overview
What Is Cold
Ramming Paste
Cold Ramming Paste is a ready-to-use, carbon-based refractory material composed of calcined anthracite, graphite, and coal tar pitch binders. Unlike hot ramming paste, it is applied at ambient temperature, eliminating the need for preheating equipment and significantly reducing installation complexity.
Designed for the construction and repair of hearth linings, taphole areas, and bottom linings in electric arc furnaces (EAF), submerged arc furnaces (SAF), and ferroalloy furnaces, it delivers exceptional thermal conductivity, chemical resistance, and structural integrity under extreme operating conditions.
Our formulation ensures superior bonding strength, minimal porosity after sintering, and outstanding resistance to thermal shock and slag penetration -- extending furnace campaign life and reducing maintenance downtime.

Why Choose Us
Key Features
Engineered for demanding industrial environments, our Cold Ramming Paste delivers consistent performance across the most critical furnace components.
Superior Thermal Resistance
Withstands operating temperatures up to 1800°C with excellent thermal conductivity, ensuring efficient heat transfer and stable furnace operation.
Chemical Inertness
Exceptional resistance to slag, molten metal, and chemical attack, preventing lining erosion and maintaining furnace integrity throughout the campaign.
Low Porosity After Sintering
Achieves minimal apparent porosity post-sintering, reducing infiltration of aggressive media and significantly extending service life.
Easy Cold Installation
Applied at room temperature without preheating, reducing energy consumption, installation time, and complexity compared to hot ramming alternatives.
High Compressive Strength
Delivers outstanding mechanical strength after curing, providing structural stability and resistance to mechanical stress during furnace operation.
Customizable Formulations
Available in multiple grades tailored to specific furnace types, operating conditions, and regional raw material preferences upon request.
